Worst thing, you can immediately tell Adeliia is uncomfortable and not happy with these scores.

Gosh I know its early in the season etc but Adelia really needs to get axel and 2 quads back.
Without them she will not even get on the podium, unfortunately nothing is exceptional, she is not very fast, steps are easy, spins kind of slow. Americans and Japanese...and have you seen Loenas free program? Spins, steps, energy. Adelia cannot even match it now.

To me she still was incomparably better than anything I saw yesterday in China.

She took another break after test skates.
And no, she only needs 2 quads. She got 31.5 PCS and high GOE at qualifier. Saying she wont get podium without 4 ultra-c is a really bizarre claim. Her SP yesterday was better than what you are seeing from internationals, factually. She is faster and her presentation is more cohesive.

Who is commenting with Yagudin and Kolyada?

Vasiliy Soloviov who was the main commentator before Grishin. He left in 2014 promising to never return.

Wrong. If she got 31.5 at qualifiers for significantly worse form than now, the PCS gap will not be that big. Alyssa and Amber will not be getting 38s.

That quad was a clear UR and atleast 2 other jumps would have receievd negative GOE internationally.

She is winning this competion even without the quad so atleast she is going for and not being complacent.

I don’t know if i love this free program. It just doesn’t have that same sparks from the previous Eteri olympic winners.

You can clearly see the frustration in her but atleast she has few months to figure this out.

Amber has 3A but honestly that's her only quality in my eyes. Alysa Liu is pushed as hell by ISU,. her scoring is ridiculous, she notoriously underrotates but tech panel looks elsewhere. Ami Nakai was surely betetr last week but so far I have to wait whether it was just a fluke because it differed vastly from any other of her previous skates.

Even in the warming-up she did not succeed the 4T. She has not yet restored her ultra-c.

I genuinely am unsure what was up with the scoring though. Like what was the point? The ChSq getting +1.63 is really preposterous... she just did a knee slide.
