Another really strong free skate from Ami, excepting the axel error, that cost her around 8 points if she'd landed it cleanly. She's really improved the consistency of her other triples and they're so lovely when landed, they usually have great flow and knee bend. She's such an authentic performer that it's hard to not enjoy this program, and she has great displays of skating skills throughout. She'll take the lead, but without the 3A, she'll need the skaters ahead of her to make errors.
