It is a really nice treat to have a really elegant classical skater in the field. I am just loving his skating even though he is a bit out of gas. He is going to be fun to watch in this and the next quad. Robing Cousins like with quads...oh my

I agree. I think this program is absolutely perfect for him. But he has to figure out those under a rotations, and his quad lutz and flip are really atrocious when it comes to his takeoff edges and technique. Terrible pre-rotation, and he doesn't even try to make the Lutz look even remotely like a back outside edge.

Still, for someone who is 6 ft 7 or whatever, it's pretty remarkable that he can come close to those quads even

Memola did well to change his programme and add the combos later without getting and reps. Interestingly, I find white really strange for a Scheherazade programme.

The shirt is beautiful though. Maybe he needs to dye it or something. Maybe a bit of an ombre look? Or is that too overdone?

The jumps let Kevin down but he has such a presence on the ice, even with mistakes. This program will be captivating if he's cleanish at the Olympics.

That blouse puts the "V" in "Kevin." He sold the program despite the mistakes, but there were a lot of them.

Weird - he looks like he was skating toward the edge of a cliff on that Triple Loop - I wonder if he was having trouble with it in practice or something? He looks terrified, and I knew he was going to fall before he even took off. I like this program for Kevin, but he is definitely letting go on a lot of these Landings.

That was stressful, but Kevin is still smiling so I'm good with it at this point. I can't help it - it's hard not to worry about Kevin as a person not just Kevin the skater.
