Sofia. Pretty dress and a really good program. Good skate and good senior grand prix debut.

Another lovely skate from Sofia! Some expressive choreography at the start, before she switches into jump focus mode. Manages to hold onto the 2A and gets the 3T done despite the wobble. Drat the 3F landing and +REP, but she thinks fast and adds the 3T to the next pass. She is really growing into herself as a performer as well, with the way she uses her arms and face and body movement, particularly in the choreo sequence.

Samodelkina’s SP is better. And her elements were smoother. She looked slow and labored across the ice. Hopefully she still gets a medal.

Nooo the REP... but I really love this program, whoever had the idea to choose Sunset Boulevard for Sofia gets it, there's a grande dame quality to her movements that makes it a great fit to the music and voice (is this Nicole Schezinger's recording?). Love her singing with the lyrics at the end. Very enjoyable watch.

Kaori is not playing around this season. She seems so centered. I'm very impressed by both of her skates here.
