I soooo hope Amber can medal at the Olympics. If she doesn't, I sincerely hope she goes to worlds and gets one there, it would be a terrible shame if she never received a medal worthy of what she's accomplished the last 3 years.

Gold for Mone I think judges got it right, her skate was more impactful today. I'm so happy for Rino. And also for Rinka, she was fantastic, determined and fought so hard and deserves to go to the final.

Amber looks serene coming to centre ice - and then she readjusts her starting position, something not quite right, I guess. A little forward on the landing of her 3A, but she lands it with positive GOE. Doubles the lutz. Whizzes into the 3Lo-2A-2A sequence. Beautiful Kerrigan spiral, and I like the knee slide she does into her final spin. She's not thrilled at the end of that, but yesterday's skate was always going to be a tall order to follow. Well done to her on her silver medal!

her flip is a stronger jump... her lutz is often dubious
