I called into work as I am still not healthy enough to survive without tissues and hot tea - hard to be gloved up working when you constantly need tissues...

Ted really struggled with Julia's surname.

Maybe somebody that speaks Italian (@elektra blue , @bartlebooth) should tell him that her surname means "Four Eyes", and he can affectionately refer to her as "Specky" like I do.

I just had a thought - I wonder does she wear glasses off ice. It would be some coincidence if she does!

Maybe I should go away. I watched the Jr pairs short and Jr rhythm dance (the events at this time of day) and didn't do much for our Canadian teams. Maybe I even jinxed the ice dancers.

These two have improved so much since I saw them last. They have gelled very nicely. Overcooked the death spiral a bit but lovely presentation..

Wow!! They attempted 3Lo and 3S throws!!!

So proud of Étienne and Julia for adding those two triple throws and landing them, though not perfectly. SO HAPPY.

Étienne has improved so much from the first time I have seen him... that time, he missed completely most of the pairs elements...

Too bad for the death spiral.

Oh and yes, Étienne is a very handsome man ( I know this is juniors but he is old enough to receive the compliments)
