2026 South Korean Figure Skating Championships

I'm very sad for Chaeyeon. I believed for the last few years that she would go to the Olympics. But even if she went, she probably wouldn't have a good experience the way things are now. I'm worried because it seems like Korean women have short careers lately but Chaeyeon is different in so many ways that I hope she will beat the odds and go in 2030. Well, I have sympathy for Heian too and I hope she will have a good experience at the Olympics if she gets to go.

The only consolation is that I'm pretty sure Chaeyeon will stay for another quad, and hopefully Korea can pick up 3 women slots for 2030 so she has a bigger chance of making the Olys team there...

Still I can't help but wonder how things would've turned out if that car accident hadn't happened to Chaeyeon late last season

I know. When she scored 220+ at 4CC, she was my dark horse to win Worlds, and then that stupid car accident

Literally the only thing keeping my sanity somewhat in place is the fact that Haein (the most likely contender) very much deserves to go after she missed her chance in 2022 not to mention the fact that KSU screwed her over so much, I am desperately trying to believe that my love Chaeyeon will endure like Haein did until 2030

I blame everything on the goddamn car accident, we could've had 3 spots and everything wouldn't have hurt this effing much

Seojin's skating skills are sooo significantly better than the rest of the Korean women field, junior or senior. Makes me wonder who trained her basics SS, since no one else comes close (other than Jia perhaps)
