What a shame for Carolane and Shane. They have really struggled to skate clean programmes and get good levels almost their entire career. I remember seeing them at Worlds in 2018 and they were Canada’s #3 team after just a couple of years together. Crazy to think now.

I would love to see what they are like in practice and if they are just not very good with competition nerves. This will not be the way they wanted to end their career :-(

Even with the fall, that was the best I had seen from the Eiradians for years!!!

And all four of them on the sofa do look happy.

They go into 2nd position in both the FD and overall.

Chris gave us a whole dissertation at the end of Men about how they’ve now identified the problem and will have it fixed before Dance begins. Something about doors being left open and the ice being too warm.
