For the non-ice dance people who are confused about the IAM controversy:

They basically coach over half of the teams in this field from a wide variety of countries. As such, some people feel that their teams get nicer scores from the judges than teams that train with Barbara Fusar-Poli or Carol Lane, for example. This was heavily talked about at Chinese Nebelhorn, where the Wang/Liu beat several other teams who arguably skated better because they were on home ice/were part of IAM and the other teams were not. IAM has had further controversies by supporting Nikolaj Sorensen, after he was accused of rape and banned from competition, and allegedly fostering a toxic environment that Gabi Papadakis has spoken about in her book. There are also allegations from Solene Mazingue, who trained with them, that she reported a sexual assault by another skater (not at IAM) to IAM coaches who then did not report that information or support her at all, and Xinyu Liu was also accused of some really bad stuff as well via social media, which hasn't been corroborated but he did disappear for like two years afterwards. That being said, there are two different campuses (IAM Montreal and IAM Ontario), and they have so many teams and coaches, that everything gets really complicated and messy, and they do help teams improve a lot in their basic skating.

A solid skate from the Taschlers. This program was very well-skated, but I do think the material isn't as strong as what they've had in the past and what other teams have here, the choreo is a bit forgettable for me (although that could be due to 90s oversaturation). They had a lot of fun with it, especially Filip, and even today with their skating not quite all out at 100% they are still so fast and confident with their skating skills.
