People at that level are different. I witnessed it one time at work (don't want to say) but this person indicated metaphorically that they would literally die trying to accomplish a certain thing. They weren't joking.

Ach, messy twizzles again and that will keep them off the podium (barring disaster) . Still, they were skating with such freedom and joy. Even with the error, this was a magical program and I hope they enjoyed every second of it.

These two are such exquisitely beautiful skaters and I feel lucky to have been able to watch them for so many years. It is truly sad they won't have an Olympic medal because they deserve one. They will be greatly missed.
