Yea probably not, but maybe a 2L?Could she? She did 2 2T already.
I mean, I don't think it'd have been like, intentional in the actual math crunching kind of way, I'm just saying I don't think the increase would have put her over, like they prob would just tack the single and the REP gains in and not touch the PCS, which would have come out to about a small difference but still losing as I saidThinking judges can calibrate placements when the differences are so tiny is not realistic. It's just over two minutes and you'd need 12 people coordinating hundredths of a point. Even if they wanted to, if they could pull that, that's superhero levels of group project work.![]()

She probably got the V for the layback, it looked like she lost the position just under two rotations. The tech panel has been pretty strict with spins this comp. Tho judges gave her straight +4 GOE for it still.I just watched Ami's last spin and this judging is 100% fraudulent. She did a perfectly good Level 4 combo spin. All positions complete and solid. But they randomly downgrade her to CCoSp3V. This needs to be investigated.
Me too.I refused to do predictions because I am a jinx.

Peacock cut out on me, dogdammit. I'll have to catch the ceremony on replay. Can you imagine NBC not showing the medal ceremony? Thank god for the venue feed on Peacock!
Congrats to Alysa, Kaori and Ami!! And congrats to Alysa for such an amazing comeback. Maybe this will set a healthier example for women’s champions, mentally and physically?
Totally agree. Ami was hosed. Arbitrary application to q calls to get to the "right" result. There were no UR's in Ami's program.
Meanwhile, Alysa had her usual sketchy 3T executed with a huge reach-around, but no call.
The judges simply held Ami down because she's not the person who is "supposed" to win. Completely hosed her on PCS and also GOE for the 'q' calls on jumps that were totally fine.
Kazakhstan's judge had Petrosian in first in the free.

1T = .4, difference between second half 3F+REP vs 3F = 1.75.I mean, I don't think it'd have been like, intentional in the actual math crunching kind of way, I'm just saying I don't think the increase would have put her over, like they prob would just tack the single and the REP gains in and not touch the PCS, which would have come out to about a small difference but still losing as I said![]()
I'll never understand how judges can completely judge it wrong (cheat) and get away with it.Kazakhstan's judge had Petrosian in first in the free.
There was no layback in her combo spin, what on earth are you talking about. She goes from a sit to a camel and absolutely did the minimum 2 rotations necessary in that camel. She probably got the V for the layback, it looked like she lost the position just under two rotations.
