Notte Stellata | Mar 7, 8 and 9, 2026

The Korakuen ramen restaurant chain has planned four very special days at their Izumi Ward, Sendai branch, with their special edition of yuzu ramen, with both pork and chicken chashu. They made a special poster with a Figure skater figure in the background, a pair of skates at the side of the bowl, three skaters on the bowl's edge and some writing inside the bowl, but I only managed to read Izumi:

I think that I read somewhere that the ANA Holiday Inn Hotel in Sendai, had their annual mocktail party inspired by skating, during the Notte Stellata days, too?

Turns out my vpn didn't work, but kind people online have been checking which ones do, paid and free, and I have taken a month's sub on Nord and it works!

The things we do for our skaters...

I was able to create an account and subscribe to Hulu Japan for a month using OVPN Spider. Hopefully, it works during the live streaming. :yes2::love:

The show was amazing! Everyone was wonderful and all the performances were perfect, with the first half nostalgic and thoughtful, and the second one much more looking towards hope for the future.
To me personally, the highlights were:
1. Jason performing a perfect Say Something and mesmerizing the audience so much that they forgot to clap when he ended, and he held his closing pose and they held the enchanted silence until he smiled, and only then the venue exploded with applause (he also skated Spiegel im Spiegel in the second half).
2. Shea Lynn Bourne dancing with the chair - but how, wow!
3. Violetta's magic with hula hoops as always
4. And of course Yuzuru was magnificent and breathtaking, and left everyone speechless with his two new programmes to Ryuichi Sakamoto's music played by Tohoku Youth Orchestra - Happy End and Yae no Sakura. Young musicians performed also some other pieces from the vast repertoire of their founder and master, including Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence.

Can't wait to see the tomorrow's show!!!

It seems that some people from outside Japan who had bought the Hulu streaming and found and tested (and often paid) a VPN that worked with Hulu, haven't been able to watch it because their VPN was blocked before or during the show.
There had been list of VPNs tested and working:

https://x.com/Wagahaiwa3/status/2029886828992467055?ref_url=

Among these, Norton, and I don't remember which other, have been reported as not working in the end; while Express VPN, not mentioned in the list, seemed to work.

It's all the more cruel from the toxic anti-Hanyu who reported the video extracts on X...
