Alysa has had no time to train after the Olympics, as she's been invited to a lot of once-in-a-lifetime experiences like the Oscars after-party, galas, Taylor Swift concerts, and many other opportunities. She was initially planning to come, but she and her team quickly saw that it wouldn't be feasible with all of the things she was doing (which are things that are going to set her up financially for a long time and are also literal once-in-a-lifetime chances)

Firebird is a good choice for Sarah right now artistically. the avant-garde music and angular style of choreography works for her. I hope she can explore her musical interpretation over the off season as that is really where she needs the work the most. She needs to develop softness and nuance in her movements.

They probably trained to peak at the Olympics, and now have little left over for Worlds. It's why we often see a bunch at withdrawals in post Oly Worlds

but it's a success that only the last 3 jumps are under review.

After a rough season, this was a really good free from Sarah! Her jumps were a lot tighter in the second half but she still put out two great skates in her Worlds debut! Hopefully she really enjoyed this experience and she will get to go to many more Worlds in the future
