If she ever ends up coaching in international competition, she will give Shun Sato’s effervescent coach a run for his moneyWhat an ending to a legendary careerThank you, Kaori, for everything
While she will be missed so much as a skater, may she delight us just as much as a coach in the future![]()
I think I had very minor points on three entries plus the full 15 for the best skater everyou are not alone...I did get Kaori right and some points for Isabeau and Mone
Lol, half the pyros not working
Awww, Mark comparing Kaori to Michelle Kwan. I've been saying that since Milan!![]()

I agree with your thoughts. But I am pleased that Isabeau and Amber were able to secure 3 spots for the US for next season. My guess is that Amber and Bradie will retire and Alysa will take another gap year. I don't see Sarah as the next US phenom but some other junior skater who is going to have to work hard to have technical excellence and performance pizzaz. Bring on the future! It's obvious we need Alysa to hope to get back on the podium though Isabeau had another top 4 finish alysa's consistency is her greatest strength as a skater. Bradie is probably retiring and i feel like Isabeau is maxed out and Sarah needs work on a lot of things though she is also a good competitor. As for Amber it's like a movie where you know the ending but hope it changes but never does.

Yes, she is going to become a coach. Is Kaori going into coaching? Thought someone mentioned that earlier. If she does, I bet she'll be great at it.

I loved, loved her Piano program. One of my favorite movie sound tracks ever.Kaori. It's been such a privilege watching her since 2018 when I first saw her live at the GPF. She didn't even medal there but her performance of The Piano made me cry and she's only had so many more stunning programs since then. Also feels a bit like a spiritual succession since I also really enjoyed Kaetlyn Osmond, living in Canada, and Kaori also ended her career on Edith Piaf and (finally) some good 3F-3Ts. It's too bad Mai couldn't also retire on so soaring a note, but by all accounts she also really loved her final skate and the appreciation she received, so wishing both of my Sysmex Girls the best as they embark on their next adventures![]()
I would hope she is interested in performing in shows, too. She would be fantastic.Yes, she is going to become a coach.![]()
It must have been so hard for Kaori after the disappointment of not winning OG. But I think this should be all the sweeter for representing her country so admirably and wrapping her career with a World gold. Now that's a retirement skate to be proud of! THRILLED Kaori decided to go for Worlds!
Imo that's an insult to Kaori.Lol, half the pyros not working

Welcome! Post long and often. Adopt some skaters. Have a blast.Well, first-time poster, long-time lurker.
Despite a few hiccups, I just love her performance. That is all.
And I would bet you any amount of money we will see her in the stands tomorrow, cheering on Yuma and ShunI would hope she is interested in performing in shows, too. She would be fantastic.
I loved it too, among many others. I wish thi soundtrack was used more often, I can come with entire list of music to sacrifice.I loved, loved her Piano program. One of my favorite movie sound tracks ever.
She really did! I was proud of her for fighting back after starting with a mistake.i think we can say Madeline redeemed herself
15+0+0+5+10=3015 Kaori, 5 Mone, 5 Niina
