"new" SP: Concierto de Aranjuez (Joaquín Rodrigo, arranged by Edvin Marton)Evgeni Plushenko RUS
SP: The Pianist soundtrack, Nocturne 20 in C# Minor (Chopin)
You're wrong - she is a producer of singer Dima BilanI just read that Plush married Marton's producer last weekend. So this change makes sense....
Just remember this year's winners Rybak - and you will distinguish themMy badI can't distinguish between them since the Eurovision song contest

The Nutcracker, then. Something done to death was the point I was aiming at. I could do a much better job of picking Evan's music than Carroll and Nichol, but I guess that's not saying much.
More information on Caro Kostner's programs:
SP: Chopin Nocturne and Violin Concerto by Tchaikovsky.
LP: Air on a G String (tee hee) by Bach and Cello Concerto by Vivaldi.
I for one am very excited, particuarly by the SP, Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto is amazing and I can't believe more skater's haven't used it!
LP Savchenko and Szolkowy : "„You’ll never walk alone“ by André Rieu
Bad, bad program. The worst is the music. Plus she didn't look like she really felt the program.Davis - White new FD

They look in a really great shape and show incredible ability and speed, but this program is a waste of talent to me. No surprise. No emotional impact. No story. Phantom is not for figure skating, or at least not for Ice dance or Pairs.
And don't get me wrong, I don't want to be the music snob here. I mean, I am a snob - but that's not the point. I don't want everybody to skate to classical music that I approve of. If some pair would put on some AC/DC and rock that in leather costumes with creative and powerful choreography and skating - I would love them forever. But this year they either chose bland pseudo-music or war-horses. It's a nightmare!![]()
That's why I said "with creative and powerful choreography" - the music alone doesn't do it. E.g. I rarely liked any of Savchenko / Szolkowy's music choices, but I could still enjoy the programs, because they are often creative, with some unusual moves etc.mmh...I don't associate Metal-Punk-Rock program whit creativity/entertainment. When the Kerrs come up with modern pieces I don't suddenly cry "wow!, at last!, they rock!" or something like that. To me "different" music choices don't necessarily mean interesting programs (except for the Lady below)
According to this blog, Jeremy Abbott has scrapped his original LP and will be skating to Symphony No. 3 by Saint Saens. No idea if that's actually true.
