Craig Buntin so didn't get the memo about masculine costumes from Skate Canada. Just like yesterday a tight bodysuit with rhinestones, some shine-through material.

They could be an exciting pair, but apparently they decided that they have to do the same D/D - chose the most snoozy music ever. That program went nowhere.

I like Buntin's effortless flexibility, most male pair skaters look painful during those spiral sequences, he looks at least as flexible as she does.

As opposed to hot Contesti this season Craig Buntin lost something in his look. Maybe he put some weight on. But last yeaar I thought he looked hotter.
But he is cute anyway.

I really, really like Duhamel/Buntin but this music does not suit them.
Doubled sbs jumps, throw 3Lz had a really wonky landing...
They looked unprepared out there, is Craig injured or something? (i still take them over D/D anyday...)

The Zhangs put me to sleep, but they did a really nice job overall. Didn't they do a 2A-3T, not a 2A-2T? It was a little shaky, but not bad.

It helps that she's not very flexible herself.

I didn't think they looked that bad overall, I wouldn't call them unprepared. They had mistakes, but their technical content is pretty difficult and I like that their program isn't front loaded at all. The music isn't great, but I wasn't loving their Tosca program either.

When I saw Dan from the back I thought it was pretty. But once she turned I realised there is not much more from the front. Yak indeed.
But they were spotless, right? not counting unsynchnised 3t after 2a/

After seeing Elvin Walker's prediction for pairs, where he put E/L ahead of D/B and I/M, i was under the impression that he may know more about how their practice are going etc.

But he seems to have gotten it completely wrong.

I/M's costumes are horrendous, and the music is completely wrong for them. Who's responsible for this? They have so much talent and their programs, music and styling are doing them no favors.
