2026-27 South Korean Figure Skating

Ye Quan looks to be announcing a partnership soon (with KSU tagged):

Oh, that's great! I'm super curious who's he partnering with (I've no clue at all). Good to see he's (possibly) staying with KSU, I think it's better option for him than Canada and it's very beneficial for Korea to have a senior team.

I saw the post too but didn't notice the KSU tag...this is interesting. I wonder who his partner is

I'm only guessing here but I'm betting on a Korean-Canadian, Canada apparently has plenty of them (merci beaucoup @4everchan @saine ) and that way no citizenship issues
I've heard elsewhere that his new partner may be Hannah Kim, a Korean-American solo dancer. Take all of this with a grain of salt, it's just a rumour, but she also recently started following (and being followed by) a number of IAM skaters on IG, so maybe there is something to it. 🙈

Yep, I also saw some comments that his partner is American-Korean solo dancer and Hannah has been training in Montreal, so it sounds possible. If that's the case, Ye's transition from Hannah Lim to Hannah Kim would be quite fun 😝

Oh wow 😳 if this is indeed the case we need to come up with another team nickname for another Hannah and Ye that is not HaYe(해예, read heh-ye)

If she turns out to be indeed Hannah Kim, I quite like KimQuan - yes it's just their full last names but it roll of the tongue quite nicely 😄 KQ can work too haha

According to Wikipedia Ye also goes by "Kwon Ye" - KimKwon or KK works even better, but will be confusing for less-familiar fans I guess 😅

I saw on Hannah Kim's instagram bio that her Korean name is Kihyun and she changed her youtube channel name to Hannah Kihyun Kim

Kim-Quan, Kim-Quan, Kim-Quan and Beetlejuice didn't appear but I love the sound of it too.

Women's JGP ticket allocations: 2 tickets each for the medalists, 1 ticket for the 4th

Edit: so Nayeon, Harin, and Jiyu (Huh) gets two tickets, 1 for Jeongyul

I am devastated that my ball of sunshine Hyowon skated two clean programs and ended up with 0 JGP tickets

Yep. Considering there's not many spots, they could've give 2 spots to the winner and then decide after first event for the other skaters - if skater is in the position to have to chance to qualify to final - gets second spot, if not - another skater gets a chance.
