I'm only hoping for tickets so far, and the KSU is still going to be the KSU so I'm not that optimistic. Expect free entrance, but since this is Mokdong with limited judges' side seats if you refuse to be freezing outside waiting at 4 am you might have to sit across or on the side. Not having people wait at 4am in the Korean winter certainly seems like a win, though as a foreigner ticket websites are sometimes tricky.
I’m planning to align my trip to one of these two competitions, do you recommend one over the other? Seems Presidents Cup might be easier to get good seats and offer an opportunity to see the same skaters. Thank you!
While Ranking and Nationals mostly have the same skaters competing (and thus the competition for the seats is equally fierce) the entry lists are yet to come out, and the schedule for Nationals is undecided because they chose a Sat-Tue schedule instead of the normal Thu-Sun schedule so we don't know when the domestic seniors (the skaters foreign fans will know and recognize are in this category) are going to skate. So I recommend you to choose the time period (Ranking is in late November and definitely going to be less cold) for you to pick which competition to go to, the entry lists don't come out until the week before the competition begins.
I do want to see her again so can't be sad, but I do sort of wish she could have stayed with Korea.
