Adding in British Eurosport videos from Frida

Just posted the following comment in the corresponding Skate America thread, and thought I should add it in here as well so that more people are aware of it.

Mmmm. I just got a private message from somebody asking if I knew of any links to videos of Eurosport's coverage of the Ice Dance. They said they could only find the 2 routines from Chock and Bates.

I thought "Ah, you musn't know Frida's link". So, I went onto the page to copy the address, and got a shock. What was said in the PM was right enough - only Chock/Bates is there. And the results table.

I was nearly sure that Frida had put up ALL of the videos from Skate America. So, unfortunately, they must have been deleted en-masse.

I know these threads are handy for us fans finding things to watch, but I suppose they are also handy for the broadcasters to find things to report for copyright infringement.

So, it looks like we are going to have to more careful with the way we post links. Or else, look the videos up quicker.

Phew! That's a relief. Although it doesn't affect me as I can watch the Eurosport guys on the TV, I wouldn't want their other fans to miss out.

Incidentally, for those fans who want to know just who all were shown on Eurosport, here are the lists.

Eurosport's coverage of the Gala started with Alaine Chartrand, so I don't know if anybody was on before her.

The SCI Gala will be broadcasted in Canada next Saturday on TSN. Just before the CoC broadcast on CBC (actually overlapping the start of CoC by 1/2 hour). Unfortunately, people without a DVR must make a choice.
