I wouldn't call T/T country inflation but it certainly is Igor inflation. He is connected now to the Officials from all the countries teams that he trains as well as a TS who is the parent of someone he trains. In a real world Tobias and her blade work would not get a component score of 34. I can't take these marks seriously.

Why? If Madison Chock and her blade work can get 30ish PCS, Tobias certainly can. I don't know about ''Igor inflation'' but If it is, they deserve more than Chock/Bates. Just look at them. Which one of his teams skates like dance team? Tobias/Tkachenko better at the moment. Not best skating quality but judges don't like skating quality, so? :disapp:

I just noticed that Ilinykh/Zhiganshin decided to use an old lift. I wonder why? Maybe they are more comfortable with it.

I expect they were told to after test skates. I really liked the old one, in Sochi it was like he lifted her out of nowhere. B/S said they were also told to change lifts in the FD, shame we won't see the new ones.

At the latest show in Moscow they skated with their old straight line lift from 'A man with a harmonica' But they were supposed to change the combination lift, according to Dima. So I don't know, maybe they decided to keep it after all.

Well, the other lift was not quite new either. And, while the position was stable, they seemed to be moving across the ice even slower than in the previous season. Probably that's why they were told to change it for the lift that worked (and was also scored) better for them. As for Bobrova/Soloviev, they just said they were going to change something in the combination lift - the transition from one lift to the other, or perhaps the second lift/part (if I remember correctly). Almost everyone on this forum and FSUniverse was saying that it didn't look good anyway. And I agree - while the first position is pretty, the transition and rotational part didn't look so good.

I agree. It's not just that the skirt is too long. The costumes are simply too formal for 'We will rock you'.

I think they changed the SD lift because it was taking too long. I remember it being about 1.5 seconds over, and I guess they couldn't speed the lift up so they changed. I really liked it, but unfortunately only six seconds for lifts has a lot of limitations.

I think this competition really has inflation. Natalia & Maksim had 54.28 point in Nebelhorn Trophy and that was already an improvement from last year. 59 points are huge for them!

Up close it's a really beautiful ornament (or whatever it is called). The problem is definitely not in it.

ew. I really dont like the loose fit- it reminds of of the waiter costume he wore with Vika during the 2013-2014 season.. It looks like he borrowed it from a big brother or something.

I don't see anything wrong with the costumes for IZ. Honestly I like these better than "The Village People" type leather headgear in black.
