I know that correlation does not necessarily equal causation, but skaters who do quads tend to receive higher PCS scores. Not sure exactly why, but I guess the general vibe judges get from the program tends to be greater when skaters do a quad.
So I don't think having a quad does have an impact on PCS scores.
Yeah I know that is the reality, but I'm always confused when people say that is the way it should be, when nothing in the actual rules says that it should be so. It's just a thing that is, nothing to do with the rules of PCS.
