I wonder what the general demographic is in these forums - in terms of awareness of the trends of recent past etc. I kinda wish it was more of clean white as it was earlier in the summer - but the upkeep must be killing his hair's health!

Getting hair to a bleached state of pure white is actually very hard unless you are naturally very, very blonde. You normally can only get it bleach to a pale yellow, then have to use a purple-tinged toner to neutralize the yellow. So sometimes in the quest for white you end up with a purple/pale silver color.
