Anyway, I got back in time to see the Mexican girl. But, what happened that Bressanutti had such a low score?

These past couple of competitions are not going too well for the Italian girls. Looks like it will be all up to Roberta to restore a bit of national pride again this week.

They really are missing Caro and Vale...

I remember watching Carol a year or two ago at Euros, she had a leotard black suit and such lovely lines, the same as Caro and hoped she would ne the next Caro. Unfortunately she underrotates her jumps.
I loved Reina. I was expecting to see Jason by her side and not that bored man chewing gum.

Got my fingers crossed that Sonia and Ziquan will qualify. I didn't see them in full, but they looked pretty good in the highlights package shown during the resurfacing (well, when you ignore Ziquan's fall, of course!)

Looking at the scores, and the names still to come, I would say that we will see some of the upcoming skaters slip into the gap between Kerstin and Beata. So, being realistic the top 5 at the moment probably will qualify.

After that, it all depends on who messes up.

Right, I'm going to restart the computer now. So, hopefully it'll be back up by the time the warm-up starts.

So that's Sonia and Ziquan qualified now for the FS.

But, Kerstin and Anne-Line are next on the list, and so still stand a good chance of qualifying.

Never mind Roberta Rodegheiro - Anastasia Yalovaia was scary there now!

You should have seeen the look she gave when the scores came up and she saw she was in the penultimate position!

So, after Nathalie Weinzierl's disappointing score (slotting in just behind Reyna Hamui), that is Kerstin and Anne-Line qualified.

Next on the list waiting for somebody to mess up is Beata Papp, followed by the aforementioned Hamui and Weinzierl.

Miyabi Oba won't have to worry about that. After that skate, she should go into the top 3.
