Bolero needs to be banned, but even more than that, is programs that edit it poorly. WE KNOW HOW THE TUNE GOES. WE KNOW WHEN YOU'RE CUTTING BARS AND REPEATING OTHERS JUST TO HELP THE SKATER'S TIMING AND IT SOUNDS BAD. It should attract an automatic deduction in Interpretation score.

Josh said too that they were trying to decide if he was going to have the new blades on old boots or on new boots. The ones he was wearing in the SP looked super-shiny, so I guess they went with new boots.

Adam was scored fairly. You have to rotate your jumps.

Adam was not scored fairly on PCS, and its the judges who decide by how much to deduct, and what to give on GOE, which is an easy way to manipulate placements. Look how Yuzu made a similar mistake to Denis on his opening quad, but the judges ignored Yuzu's mistake becuz, yeah they are in love with Yuzu, even when he cleans up the ice with five falls like on the GP circuit partly due to injury. When a skater has rep with the judges, they get breaks with mistakes. Denis does not have Yuzu's rep, so Denis is marked down more.

OK, Kovtun is never going to be the flavour of the month here on GS, but I feel really bad for him and hope he redeems himself in the LP. His TES is going to be a disaster with those pops.

That's how he rolls though. He's nothing without those quads and doesn't even jump half of the triple jumps. Did bolero just turn back on for a split second there?

Oh please. Denis and Yuzuru have similar love amongst the judges. Yuzu's skating and program are better and Denis fell, yuzu didn't. Yuzuru had a solid combo and his 3A, as excellent as D10's was, was better. Coming from someone who likes them both. Wish both an excellent free skate.
