Well, I've been thinking this for awhile: it looks like
Exogenesis may be this year's POTO. It won't bother me; I enjoyed many of the 2014-15 POTOs because they were all different -- and I absolutely adored Kayne/O'Shea's 2015-16
Music of the Night and watch it frequently.
Exogenesis is a gorgeous complex piece and may be even more open to subtly different choreographies, but I can imagine the moaning and groaning to come around here.
Charlotte VANDERSARREN of Belgium is brave to skate to
Firebird right after Gracie's FB was memorable for a variety of reasons. On the other hand, she might be able to interpret it in a way that makes it meaningful and fresh. But it's such big, memorable music, I don't know. Still, I firmly believe in skaters choosing music that means something to them in that moment in time, i.e. Tarah and Danny. Doing so can carry their expression forward by leaps and bounds.
The only music that I think will send me screaming out of the room is
Sing, Sing, Sing. Just goes to show, everyone's limits are different.
