You people have absolutely no imagination. I know nothing about their music, but going by their costumes alone, I would say that a perfectly modern and respectable scenario would be:
The young newlyweds are crazy for each other. He has a formal dinner obligation connected to his high-powered job. After working late at her own high-powered job, she finally escapes the office and comes home to an empty house. She's lonely for her husband ... loves the smell of his shirts (it is not uncommon for women to feel this way) ... so she puts one on as she looks forward to welcoming him home. When he walks in the door, ...
Zhulin programs require too much explanation, rather than imagination. We need appropriate cues to imagine after all. If he didn't explain that the Man of Harmonica was about a guy going mad and a woman saving him, I would not have understood that from the choreography. I thought the choreography was supposed to tell a basic story and we imagine the details based on the choreography. Zhulin is over-compensating for years of Russian theater on ice and now he is doing a post-Matrix, post-modernist look...
I would only really imagine a high-powered couple having an impromptu cuddle if there are physical movements that confirm or tell a story. But the choreography is
They pretty much recycled the same moves from their waltzes and other programs.

LOL, her costume is a very strong clue for my imagination. I don't need any others. YMMV.
And their moves at the beginning of the program are an expression of passion, IMO. YMMV.
What I had in mind was pre-delight dancing (Nighttime 
Delight). For me, that's why it makes sense that he is not shirtless.And I guess I should have been more specific in my scenario above: She puts on his shirt as she look forwards to to his return home ... and waits to welcome him to the bedroom. (Thus she already has shed her office outfit

The only really serious "point" of my previous post is that I disagree with those who think she looks sl*tty -- simply b/c she is dressed seductively. She could be a perfectly respectable wife who wants to be seductive only to her husband. Nothing sl*tty about that.

Well, they got a lot of attention for their program and a lot of people are talking about it. I guess that's what Zhulin et al wanted! YMMV is definitely true. I don't think her costume is any more risque than many crazy costumes we've seen in the past.

They are also on the entry list of Nebelhorn Trophy. I think they signed up for both competitions while not really knowing when they were going to be ready, and now obviously simply decided that they are not ready to show both programs at the level they want yet. I personally am not that concerned - at least not yet. Of the top teams neither Papadakis/Cizeron nor Shibutanis have announced their music choices (except Sinatra's 'That's Life' as one of the pieces for their SD in the case of Shibutanis). As for other teams, for instance Tobias/Tkachenko and also some lower level teams have not revealed anything about their music either.

I used most likely, that does not mean that other lady is not going to play a role in this. usually it will be 2 ladies's combining results. Mirai is great, yes her result combined with Ashley's in 2016 worlds also could earn US 3 sports, but admit it or not, Gracie is still at least TOP 2 US lady at to this day based on her history as well as her newest 2016 world results.
That is a huge responsibility. And how can people forget that, when Gracie got 4th, she apologized for the country, she really don't need to... That is a sense of responsibility and pressure, NOT entitlement.
If Gracie deteriorates or kept disappointing herself and her fans in the future, and there are stronger skaters coming up, she will be replaced. As to this day, she is still solid TOP2 us lady, so it is legit that say that Team Gracie felt the pressure to earn spots.

On the subject of Gracie's short program choice, in her 2015 TSL interview, she said that when she repeated her 2014 SP (the Grieg) in the 2014-15 season, to her it felt somewhat like going back, not forward. That's a shame, because that program was awesomely choreographed and she did it so beautifully. But that may be a factor in why she chose another tango, but a different one, for this season. Comfort, familiarity, and nearly everyone agrees that tango is a good style for her, yet she can feel she's moving forward. It doesn't yet work for me, because I loved last year's Tango much more. But, it's early.
Please, please could someone let Team Montreal know that there are other tempos and styles available. H/D's FD could have a ton of impact if we hadn't already seen something similar from 4 other teams for the last 2 seasons. They need to up the speed as well.
Yes, it does seem a bit monotonous now, but their SD is really spicy. So maybe that's how Montreal is doing it this season. I noticed something similar with the new team Smart and Diaz. LOved the SD, the FD the usual Montreal dreck I couldn't watch in one sitting. I don't think I ever will.
