Yuka...
I want her to find a music that is unique only for her. I know it is hard. But her music choice leaves much to be desired. (i.e. madamme butterfly last year, too)
She is a gorgeous skater and she has it all. But......
This packaging makes her generic, hides her strength, and limits her development. IMO.

Really nice skating.

Lovely from Sotskova, you can definitely see improvement in her skating this season. The music is somewhat challenging but she done well with it. She must be one of the tallest ladies on the circuit. I feared for UR for Galustyan but I really enjoy her skating, the fall on the 2a looked as if it hurt. Disappointing for Nagai, bottom of the pile so far but she has such a relaxing style. Next up Haguchi.

I thought I had finally accepted that whatever Med does will score high, but I was wrong. This score here makes so sooooooo angry! I hate this trend that PCS will rise just because an event is set later in the season! For anyone! But I think it's especially glaring with Med because she always does the same. Consistent, but same. So how come this scored 1,5 points more in PCS than at SA? This is ridiculous! Even last year it left me wondering hiw Med's LP score of 139 at Rostelecom Cup rose to 147 at GPF while she did everything exactly the same....
Consistency is great but why does is automatically give you higher scores?? I thought it should be judged what is put on the ice at the moment of the comoetition. Ideally it shouldnt matter what you did before....

I completely agree with you. I've never been that impressed with Evgenia's skating OR expression. And now, every program looks the same, including interpretation.
True, she's consistent. But that doesn't justify these monster scores.
