Gracie always makes me so sad when she doesn't skate well. It's like watching a very well engineered car get totaled because the owner was texting. God speed Gracie, God Speed.

Don't understand the heavy loading of popular/top skaters in the first half. I truly don't understand from a TV rating/viewer perspective.

The same was the case at Rostelecom SP for men's and now this. Seems I won't have to wait the whole hour of the show. :dev2:

I agree with you. The SD competition at US nationals was like that a couple years' ago; and Meryl Davis commented that it's confusing to the live audience, as well, when the skaters aren't seeded and the level of skating is all over the place.

AFAIR, she isn't attempting it at all. The knee is not healed yet.
