She has another pair. I don't know how adjusted she is to the spare, though.
Although looking back, I think Polina's score was overly high, and Mirai was low-balled (she should have broke 60), I'm not so sure that Polina URed, and Mirai probably was clean on her flip too, although she did travel a bit on her spin.
The horror for the USFSA is if it's Polina, Tyler and Mirai on the podium. What will they do then?
That would be the best nationals ever. Just to keep everybody on their toes of course. Of course Mirai has to skate with her spare skates so I doubt that's going to happen.

do you seriously think the usfa will go will with that?....Polina has earned it but I don't think they are going to with the other two.
Having a poor SP usually fires Ashley up to skate lights out.

Now I kind of want to see this. Mainly cause I loved Tyler and Mirai :luv17:
I just hope Ashley and Gracie deserve it as opposed to just being pushed up as the predestined team they've built up for years. Even if it's just due to being less crappy than the rest of the field, I really don't want to feel like (for example) Tyler and Mirai got shortchanged in both segments to make it happen.

The nightmare here is if Mirai leapfrogged into third, with a top 4 of Polina, Gracie, Mirai, and Ashley. Deja vu all over again! Mot expecting that to happen, though. All that became clear to me tonight is that Polina will make that World team.

Come on. No matter what happens in the performances, it's gonna be massaged for Ashley and Gracie to make the team, unless they both have a wipe-out. And if that should happen, USFS will send Polina, Tyler and Mirai (new blood, with an old veteran, and an experienced confident competitor in Polina) doesn't mean they can't all do well internationally.
