The landing on Mirai's 3A looked a tiny bit off. Still....she's putting herself in National Champion threat territory with that.

Choreographically and from a PE and INT standpoint, I'm just not inspired. Sorry Mirai. The fact that she's gotten a real 3A though is very, very impressive and inspiring.

One fall. Couldn't tell rotations. Very reserved. Lots of potential. Jumps high!!

Mirai is showing consistency with this Long Program and it's a good fit for her. They seriously need to get that 2Axel+3Toe in there earlier though and hold the spiral afterward longer. That is such a critical moment in the music, it needs a really good spiral.

If we all donate enough money can we make Goldenskate NOT slow down like this???? I expect this during certain GP events and Worlds, but during seniors Bs?????

I was laughing as they played "Take My Breath Away" while Mirai was in the K&C because that is obviously what this competition has done to everyone.

I really like this LP for Mirai, and I think this was a good showing for her. She fought through everything and stayed focused after the 3A. Now she just needs to clean things up and keep her consistency. I'm more optimistic about her than I've been in years past. And I would love to see her make the Olympic team.

agreed. However, this program doesn't need to be bubbly with lot of smiles. She could get away with the somber presence she brings to the ice, if she just milked that a bit. It might work.
I think she needs to understand what Miss Saigon is all about.
