Karen seems too much in her head tonight. You can see her thinking and it's messing her up - taking too long to make some of these take-offs happen.

I am far less impressed by this program than I was the first time I saw it. It doesn't work unless she is SELLING it.

Poor Karen, she was doing well before those mistakes crept in...

This is Karen's worst LP. Nothing surprising or imaginative about her Carmen. Just typical diva-ish movements tossed in randomly and a half-hearted self-stab at the end. It's been done to death.

A purple costume and West Side Story don't seem to go together.

It makes sense if she's playing the character Anita. But from these comments I don't think Mariah is playing Anita. So if that's the case, yes, it doesn't make sense.

I just love Marin's presentation, elegant airy effortless poise, feel for the music, how she carrry landing movement through. She need a better SP to bring out the best aspect of her. This is so beautiful....
