V and M still have room to improve. Overally lots of pressure but not brilliant preformances - must be saving themselves for worlds. American domination almost. WEll north american domination for sure.

In my opinion, they were generously overscored. However, there is something that is impossible to put into words how special V/M are. I'm so glad they are making another run at competitive skating. We are so lucky to watch them compete.

Overscored? How so? They're the fastest team out there with some of the very best technical content, and, as you yourself admit, that star quality. We can agree about being excited to have them back, though.

Hmm, I've actually preferred other performances of that. It's a gorgeous program, they skate it sublimely, but it's tilting a bit too much into the ooeygooey for me. Earlier they had a tension in the beginning of the program that resolves in the second half and I didn't get that here.

YMMV of course.

Places are solidifying.

The change from the instrumental music dance to the music with vocals dance still feels jarring to me and breaks the lovely spell of the program a bit for me.

when I think of S. Korea, I also think of Korean skincare. I blame my sister for this because she wears those skincare pimple patches every now and then. Surprisingly enough, they work well for her.

I kinda disagree. Both G/P and W/P had strange and unfortunate errors in the SD, which meant they really couldn't catch up no matter how they skated. I feel like G/P are actually on the rise. But W/P have had a bad season after a tough worlds last season. I think their programs this season don't really do them any particular favours. In short ( I know, I know, too late for that) I don't know how much their results here have to do with V/M's return.

I'm so glad Piper & Paul redeemed themselves today. But I particularly loved their shenanigans in the green room. That's why I love them, they're having fun, they allow themselves to be a bit mental (in the best and most positive way possible) and go a bit OTT. My kinda guys
A bit sad for WeaPos, who I thought where marvellous today. Congrats to the Shibs, nobody seems to be able to overtake V/M this season.

At first I thought this was unfair to W/P, but they may be worse off than Gracie. If she gets her jumps back I think the marks will come back, where I think W/P have crystallized themselves as being in the second tier and it'll be virtually impossible for them to climb back by the Olympics even if they get their twizzles in order.
