I'll add that Zhou's 256 here still has him below Jason and Max in terms of SB for total scores.

Unless Jason bombs at Nationals i think he's going to the Olympics. He is a consistently good skater under pressure and has a great chance to make the GPF for the first time.

Agree. Maybe send Zhou to 4CC and/or worlds instead, assuming someone from the Oly team wants to sit it out, to squeak out a medals from a presumably shallow field.

I feel so sorry for Petrov. But it's a golden rule of figure skating. You can't have both the Ladies and the Men skate clean. If the Ladies do great, the Men have a splat-fest. Or the other way around. Or they both fail. But they almost never both do well.

And for what it's worth, his score is the same exact as Jason's no-quad Lombardia FS, which is his SB score at the moment. Jason still has a 15+ point PCS buffer internationally.

Yeah, he is lacking in quality of jumps (GOE) and PCS comparing to Jason. If US judges at Nationals would be strict in UR calls, Jason will beat him with clean non quad skate.

Vincent is really overdoing it on those spread eagles. There should be a drinking game for this. But he hit most of his jumps, so all in all a solid performance.
