Skaters dont have to pay for copy rights. they can literally use any song out there. They are protected by ISU

Skaters don't deal with the rights- it's the TV broadcasting companies that have to and they usually have blanket agreements

I think it has to do with timing. The timing of the different versions is often what I notice.

Lovely yuna!!! yuna’s Debussy is different from mature artist, carolina’s. Her young exhuberant energy combined with the fluid jumps are so poetic and beautiful!! Great program by a precious lovely girl!!
