I live in Manhattan, and we've had years of serious bedbug infestations. I've had them and they're a nightmare to get rid of. And you can get them simply by sitting in the wrong chair or having one crawl into your briefcase. It has nothing to do with being dirty or the like. Hotels are particularly prone to them. It's not a case of Western Media picking on poor Russia.
