H/D are my favorite of the top 3 American themes but that felt a little flat after the last couple programs. That music has a badass factor that they're not interpreting so it doesn't quite work for me

I used to be a Maddi and Zach uber but it's been several years now since a program of theirs truly grabbed me. This is the program I've been waiting for. I have all the chills and warm fuzzy feelings again...

they relearned their FD after ACI.... so only 3-4 weeks... for a program under old rules.... they will get smoother and smoother. I hope they keep the passion

Aha! Makes sense. I hope they keep it too. Really strong performances, I thought.

OMG. After seeing those last two programs one after another .... I far and away prefer the Slow Burn .... of passion from Madi and Zach. :luv17: Fabulous.

will write much more later, but have to say that I'm shook by the impact and force of Tessa and Scott performance - the program was not designed to suit everybody's taste, the music was chosen not to please all, but it all was done from the personal devotion to the idea and everything that is supposed to bring it into live by Tessa and Scott. Today, the idea felt alive and breathing, beat along with the music and lots of hearts of those watching I think. The amount of work done since ACI in terms of composition and balance between parts, harmonization of the music with movement is beyond insane for me.

I'll be nasty here, but I never remember Zach's face. Like, at all. I think "well, he's hot" and then I just can't recall his face.

I'm with you on that. Kinda like I have no idea what Evan Bates looks like after years of watching him skate with Madison Chock — she is so much the star.

Wow H/D power and versatility from the so called Montreal mush to this earthy blues to the amazing rhumba. Such strong edges. Ben is raving about the amazing twizzles and ridiculous (good) technical score. Plus, Zach!
