Well good heavens. Marin. I have to admit, I've sometimes had a hard time caring about all the young Japanese ladies, who tend to blend together in my mind. But Marin was something else there. Beautiful skating, I don't even care that she fell.

Marin looks to be having a bit of a Shoma-type landing on her jumps that is giving her problems. (I don't know how to describe it though..a wide landing?)

The landing's too deep. She probably should have aborted the combo and tried to add it later. Or went for a double.
