2017 GP Skate Canada Ladies SP

Well, finally some clean jumps but I'm still not really sold on this program. Her expressiveness doesn't come across to me, but at least she's a solid athlete.

I wish Maria had programs like her junior days. I liked her black magic woman. I wish she would use something else beside classical music.

Edit: She's really tall though O_O Great to see more power in her jumps, she used to struggle with UR the junior days

That was a very beautiful performance from Maria, I really enjoyed it. But wasn't she a bit slow?

Yep, looked a bit like slowmo at some points
But then i suppose she didnt fall at least, thats an achievemnt at this competition

Maria caught my attention at the end of last season. She has very appealing quality. genuine and innocent. Is she recycling her short dreess from last year?

She is a tall girl and gets Ur marks often. But, here she is; adding Tano to all her jumps. I love her fierceness.
I hope she has her arm a little bit higher. it looks to close to her head and does not look nice on a 2A.

ohhhh long waiting time at the KnC.

So there's 3 Moulin Rouge programs (Karen Chen's SP, Ashley Wagners's FS, and Kailani Crane's FS) and 3 Swan Lake programs (Maria Sotskova's SP, Kaetlyn Osmond's FS, and Anna Pogorilaya's FS).

Bleeeeeeeeeeeeh

(At least no Gatsby?)

Larkyn Austman has Gatsby for one program.

I liked this SP for Maria last time I saw it, but she seemed to run out of juice at the end or something. Agree with the Canadian commentators that the music was "skating her" just at the end.

Why are people acting like it is a conspiracy that Courtney is ahead? She didn't fall, she didn't pop, she didn't under rotate. Her tech score may be high, but her PCS was under 29. Not even high, actually really low.
