Still shocked about the fall but this program is really growing on me emotionally. I think they're setting the mood better at the beginning. Can't wait for their free
Tech: Ouch, a very uncharacteristic fall from Han on the sbs 3T. Seemed like he rushed the take-off. Gorgeous throw 3Flip, though, and textbook 3Twist. Nice positions and speed in the spin. A few areas in the footwork were out of sync (still somehow graded Level 4). The lift and death spiral were also good, but they were late with the music.
Pres: Certainly not their best performance. Han felt like he wasn't completely under his skate today and the spell they can cast with this music was broken early on. This should go into third place with that fall. They are going to have to bring it in the free to come back.
Some surprising twists and turns tonight. Not expecting that fall from him. It was Sui that I thought looked off in the warm up. The pressure to do well must be immense for these skaters.
I may be in minority, but even with the fall, the program felt amazing. The fall somehow added more 'rawness' forward to the program, the emotion felt much stronger from their expression. And love, love Wenjing's consoling Han after ending pose - she gets it like no one else, as she had her fair share of struggles in sbs jumps. Still, for me the strongest connection and 'chemistry' between them and between their skate and music.
