So, we are going to see 3A in the short program and 3A-3T in the free program from Rika? :)

So many Polinas in the figure skating :dbana:

There also will be Ilayda Bayar! :) But... With probably most loved Morozov song. How many times he made programs with Lara Fabian's music? :laugh2: Also Sophie Abrams from Israel has very good skating skills. And of course two Russians: cute jumping machine - Dunya Panenkova, and Alisa Fedichkina, two years ago the cutest kitty. What about her current condition I don't know. Anyway, another very interesting event is coming!

The scores of the both U.S. girls were not bad in the summer competitions.

Ashley Lin: 172,63 (Bluebonnet Open)
Emmy Ma: 171,34 (Glacier Falls)

Kihira's scores are so all over the place. Last season she beat Zagitova to win her JGP event, then was beat by Gubanova in the next one, and again was beat by both Zagitova and Gubanova in the Finals. So which one will show up this week?

3A is not allowed in SP for Jr ladies but she said she's gonna go for two triple axels in free, one solo and one with triple toe . In latest article Rika said her axel success rate is 70 % already.

yeah, cant wait!!! :yahoo::hap57:

Going through the music choices, there's quite a few well known warhorses. And also Celine Dion and Lara Fabian.

There's also some more inspired choices. Glad to see a Joe Hisaishi piece. And I knew I'd seen a junior girl with the Diva Dance from the 5th Element this season and there it is, from Hyun Soo.

Good luck to all the girls.

Could anyone please let me know what time the ladies Free will start?

Look in Doris's OP where it says "Time and Practice Schedule". The times on that are local Riga time so you'll have to convert it to your own timezone.

I think that two triple axels in one program is a little risky with a success rate of 70%, as that means a failure rate of 30% (obviously) I've noticed with Kihira that if she makes a mistake on the axel then she starts to lose it with the other jumps. However, when it goes well it's DIVINE and then she really performs and delivers the technical goods. Just glad that's not a decision I have to make!

Also, ready to see Dasha SLAYING it  The origin of the triple lutz ripponed -triple toe ripponed

Timings are in the coloured time schedule - use the "Time and Practice Schedule" link in Doris' OP above.

According to that, Ladies FS is Friday 8th, 15:30 - 20:50 Latvian local time

Doris also provides a link to a time conversion site, if you need it
(eg. it shows 15:30 in Latvia = 14:30 in Netherlands)

No. She lost to Gubanova in her first. Won against Zagitova in her second with a 3A. Was injuried in the finals and finished fourth. Her injury has healed now. She should be fine.

Thank you!
