I would love for her to get a medal. I hope that silly single axel doesn't cost her one.

That 3a+3toe combo was so good! Nice height and flow, fully rotated. Good that there's a Hamada student without rotation issues. Now she needs to add more transitions, especially before her jumps. With the right programs, Kihira can be a very interesting skater in the end.

Sofia's layout is really bad / weak. I don't think she has a 3-3 and also the +SEQ really hurts her score. I don't expect her TES to be very high and in BV she loses by several points to everyone.

"A very focused skate", yes. Sofia didn't really perform at all. Wasn't at all like her best skate in the JGP. Deserves a far lower score when it comes to the artistic categories.

Beautiful program, and yay, clean! But will it be enough for the lead? I think team Mishin needs a better choreographer and dance teacher, his students tend to look a bit sluggish compared to the other russians .... :think:
