I for one happen to really like these boots. But looking at the comments about them I am probably in the minority.

It is nicer when it's smooth like that, but I do have many other spins and variations I prefer a lot more than this one. I do like it when it's used as a transitional move. I was watching Mao's Sochi FS yesterday and she does it during her step sequence and it's so lovely.

It's one my least favorite spins, aside from that weird camel with the knee bent... it's really awkward for me. Can you point me to Adelina's illusion spin, so I can see if it changes my mind?

Here. Not the best camera angle for the illusion spin, but it's overall the best performance of that SP. I time-stamped the spin, but I'd recommend the whole awesome program

I can look for better examples for her Illusion spin after the Junior Ladies are over

Because when you write a letter to somebody, you always sign off with your name. And to me, writing on the internet is like writing a letter.

I did the same when I was a member of a German forum for a Japanese group about 10 years ago.

And I have always done the same whenever I post to my social networking profiles on Bebo, Facebook, vKontakte, etc.

Not that I post on them that often! I am far more active on here.

Christy has got potential...I have never seen her before but I am really impressed by her jumps. Needs to improve her skating speed. Shame about the first combo and the popped flip, but otherwise she will be a very good skater

Yes, some skaters are more talented and accomplished than others. For Americans ladies, I think it's good result since there was nothing expected from there and I've never seen them before comparing to Alina, Polina and Stasya who are all were contenders for medals.

She's nearly 7 points above the next highest TES! I like her quite a bit, so I'm really happy for her.
