The Russians won't get anywhere promoting Kovtun and they should have understood that up now.

Such a pity, but Kovtun seems to have lost his confidence in quite many competitions. It remains to be seen whether he can bounce back in fs.

Kolyada is a deserved leader so far, but why does he always have such a tense look on his face even if he smiles? Or would tight be a better word?

Yes i wish more push for SPB male skaters: they have better posture, better skating skills and a gorgeous jumping technique than the muscovites.

This is so true. I even noticed the similarity between them at SA. Both of them look absolutely miserable with dread before competing and that never ends well.

But they get high PCS no matter what. :disagree:

I've noticed that about Kovtun, although he just seems to have resting scared face since I've seen photos of him off the ice where he's got that expression.

I actually thought he was looking less deer-in-the-headlights recently!
