2017 World Ladies SP

Ashley is my favourite US lady, she always entertains.

Let's be fair. Ashley sells it. She could sell ice to Eskimos but it covers up also some flaws. I am wonderingwhat the judges will do??? I mean she is world silver medallist - would you put her behind two Canadians? It just seems almost crazy. Mind you the US does have Donald Trump lol.

This is going to be tight for the USA to keep 3 spots... it is possible, but it's going to be tight...

I really dislike Sotskova's one minute long neverending step sequence designed just to gain the level.

I like Ashley, but don't really get into her programs this season. Better programs for Olympics please.

Just missed Ashley! (Just logged on at work). I assume there was a UR or two?

She's an LP skater anyway. Made it through the short without falling. And it's probably heartening to learn that Karen's in good position after the SP.

Bit of music whiplash with Sots skating to such a typical old skool tune.

I like the way she skates though.

The Russian federation VP Lakernick in charge of ISU had been gearing up for Russian 1, 2, 3 for a while. Let's see if this happens.
