2017 Worlds Men's SP

Now, judges better tell me why Jin's PE is 8.46 and Nathan's is 8.61 :hopelessness:

Nathan looked so slow in the first part of the program. I just don't get how he scored that high with those landings and the fall...

Good for Nathan and Boyang for that matter. Nathan has set himself up nicely. But here is the issue I have. The PCS. I know it is not up to me and the system is the system. Nathan is already over 43 pts!!!! IMHO Hanyu, Brown and Chan even if they don't skate clean probably should be a good 6 to 7 pts ahead pc wise but that won't happen. Can't happen. All it takes is one semi clean quad and even that difference is obliterated.

Another good skate in this group this time by Bychenko. Keep the positive vibes coming people....

Alexei's jumps are really solid, I hope he can have better music next season. I just cant with this 60s weird funky disco music

Boyang needs to do a worlds routine and leave the exhibition part. All skaters can jump during step sequence it is neither hard nor cute. I agree Chen got wrong PCS but Boyang program is not really good for him he can do better.

I guess the audience beg a differ when they give the standing ovation to Jin.

Indeed. PCS wise: Boyang >>>>> Nathan

For these performances, definitely. Nathan even beat a clean Mikhail who is a better skater with a better program in PCS despite his fall. I'm getting out my Popcorn for the justifications of that. If I wouldn't feel so sad for the other skaters, it would actually be downright hilarious in it's absurdity.

Nathan looked so slow in the first part of the program. I just don't get how he scored that high with those landings and the fall...

Definitely deserved only about a 39 in PCS in comparision to what all of Ten, Kolyada, and Boyang got.

Very good skate by Alexei. He can be pretty pleased with that.
