Does Canada always call it a women's even (as opposed to standard ISU ladies)?

I also prefer random order. Even though IJS is supposed to eliminate saving scores for later flights it doesn't feel like it really works that way.

I wish I'd been home to see the pairs and men SP last night (sorry I missed seeing Elladj slay 'live' - I have such a huge soft spot for him!) but, since there's weather alerts for flash floods followed by freezing, I'm settled in for the day and evening to see all the LPs and FD.

Well, that's if I can get streams working, that is. As it is, I'm struggling to watch until they go to the TSN channels since I only have fully working streams for those. Dailymotion videos play so choppy for me, either from bandwidth or my privacy/adblock setup no matter which browser I try, that I'm thinking I may have to forgo that coverage and just follow along here if anyone comments until I can rely on the dodgy TSN/CTV options I found last night again...

Weird skate times is one of the drawbacks of trying to get all the segments available during daytime/evening for a country with multiple time zones, plus it enables squeezing all the senior competitions into one evening and a day when spectators might be available rather than hold everything during typical school and work hours. Though isn't the Olympic time schedule a little odd to accommodate international tv? I could swear I read that somewhere. If so, then I suppose skating in the morning could be looked at as good practice.

Edit:
lol, the English commentators just said the same thing right as I posted.

Thank you!
:thank:
This link runs so much smoother for me than the official one.

I don't get the opportunity to see many of the lower ranked Canadian women aside from nationals once a year. Yes, there's a huge gulf between the level of the top two or three compared to the rest but that's to be expected - small population + niche sport. That said, I'm enjoying them anyway.

That was a very nice skate for Aurora. They're right that her stroking is choppy, but still a very nice performance.

Aww, that was so much better than her SP! She needs polishing, but at least she showed her potential after yesterday's disappointment.
