it is usually more about just showing them stuff from competitions, being impressed by how they can even move with grace and easiness to the music; and with ID, they are usually very impressed/shocked by the design of steps in patterns, the edge work in step sequences, twizzles - they just cannot believe that the actual dance, rhythm can be translated onto ice reality
