That's interesting. Is Maia Mazarra perhaps negotiating a transfer to France? It would explain why she hasn't skated internationally since her JGP event at the start of the season, among other things.

She might have, I don't know. But she skates out of La Chaux-de-Fonds in the Suisse Romande, which is right on the French border, so transferring to France wouldn't cause her any trouble geographically! And France does have more money to support its skaters financially than Switzerland does.

Entries as of 04/12 :
Chafik Besseghier withdrew, which isn't a surprise. To qualify, skaters/pairs should reach during the season a specific technical score, which is (if I'm right) the same as Europeans. So normally no other skater will qualify.

Oh no! I was looking forward to seeing him again, his short program was awesome at IdF. What is it with French guys and back injuries this year?!

Maxence Collet withdrew, Philip Warren is back on the list.
Coline Keriven and Noël-Antoine Pierre added too, good for this young pair. They scored 130 points at TDF Courbevoie last weekend. At this same event, Alizée Crozet did a clean SP with 3T+3T and 3F. Sounds exciting for the podium fight!

Hello, everyone. Since the Nationals Game has undergone last-minute drastic format change and now it will consist only of the Big 4 Nationals (USA, Canada, Russia and Japan) and since some of you were interested in participating in the extended format that included also the smaller federations (this year it was going to be 4 Nationals, French, Italian and South Korean championships), I thought that just for fun we could organize some sort of prediction game regarding those four federations with the difference that the results will not sum up to the Nationals Game, they won't be published anywhere else outside the respective championships threads and there will be no prize for the winners except for personal satisfaction. 4 Nationals and Italian Championships already have the announcements published in their respective threads and as there also appeared a suggestion to organize something similar for the French Nationals, here we are :)

So, here is the thread where you can make your predictions for the French Nationals (adaptation of CaroLiza_fan's original prediction game post).

Entries/Results Page: http://csndg.org/resultats/ELITES-2018/

The competitions start on 13th December 2018 at 15:30 CET (14:30 GMT) with the Ladies.

So, the target time to get your predictions in is 1 hour before that, i.e. 14:30 CET (13:30 GMT)

If you need any help working out what time this is where you are, here is the Time Converter that Mrs. P has been very kindly directing us to the past few years.

In Pairs and Ice Dance category are only 4 entries, but I suppose that since this competition is only for fun, we can go ahead and score them as well (normally the scoring starts with minimum 5 participants in any given category). The rules will be the same as for the GP Prediction Game. And although in Ladies and Men only the Top 5 will be scored, you are advised to include at least 6 skaters in your predictions lists for each discipline. The remaining skaters will be alternates in case any of the skaters you pick for your Top 5 withdraws or can't compete at the last minute.

Might not be a worry after all - he's on the entries list as of today!

Thanks  You just need to add French Nationals in the brackets and change word 'three' federations to 'four' in all your posts like i did here
