Chor Lift

Even with the fall, this was MUCH BETTER than the RD. They kept the 20s feel nicely throughout.

Score: 67.96 (35.71 TES, 33.25 PCS)

Lou TERREAU / Noe PERRON
Country: France
Music: "Dance of the Sugar"; "Porz goret" by Yann Tiersen; "Dance of the Sugar"
Choreography by: Karine Arribert-Narce
Costumes: Black with pink trim and silver trim for both. Love the one sleeve shirt for him and the cut of her skirt. Very off kilter and appropos

Program Layout:

Circular St Seq - it's Robo Nutcracker! LOVE it.
Chor Spin
SL Lift - the entry needs to be smoother. It's Western Unioned right now
Chor Character St Seq
Stationary Lift
Twizzles - sync issues early, better last set
NT St Seq
Dance Spin- exit is a bit awkward to set up final pose

OK, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this choreographer. Count me a fan. Her programs are just so left field daffy they make me smile. Early days guys. Live up to that program and it will be WONDERFUL.

Score: 60.84 (33.01 TES, 27.83 PCS)

The French Team really bought something different that's for sure!

Although I really liked the spin towards the end, where he was in the camel position and she was standing, it's like the opposite of what you usually see!

Role reversal for the win.

Jocelyn and James's outfits are a wonderful colour!

The screen froze for the first 1.15 of H/K's program. Will have to fill this later.

GET IT TOGETHER YOUTUBE. YOU CERTAINLY MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO FIX YOUR &$^#$%#$ TECH.

ETA: I did catch a really nice curve lift.

I get Min/Gamlin vibes from the two of them for some reason.

Sophia ELDER / Christopher ELDER

Choreography by: Igor Shpilband, Fabian Bourzat

Program Layout:

Dance Spin - nice speed
Twizzles - last set sync problem
SL Lift
Circular Step Seq - really nice flow with good edges
NT St Seq - rise and fall is nice.
Ch Twizzle - these were really nice
Rotational Lift - he tried the one foot but man I was scared he'd lose his balance. Phew!
Choreo Spin

MUCH better than the RD. Both Ted and I enjoyed this. Into first and they deserve to be.

Score: 77.90 (41.70 TES, 36.20 PCS)

I have to say...these transitions out of spins, as for jumps, twisting around your partner's arms, are giving me major anxiety:eek:

Well I am in love with KA-N and her wacky choreography. So far SHE is this season's big find for me. I do hope she's choreographing for the seniors as well.

Yes, they pretty much ALL need to work on transitions between movements. I know it's early days, but it's pretty much an issue with every couple.

I would love to see what Karine Arribert-Narce would do with a top notch team, either junior or senior.

Of course there has to be a Carmen program.

Edit: Carmen to Malaguena?

I'm as sick of Carmen as the next person, but I really enjoyed that! :) They performed really well - I'm especially drawn to her. I thought that they looked more powerful than in the short program. Their costumes complemented each other well too. Nice job, especially for such a young team!
