Eva KUTS / Dmitri MIKHAILOV
Country: Russia
Music: "Every Other Freckle" by alt-J
Choreography by: Sergei Plishkin, Ekaterina Vinogradova
Costumes: Grey dress for her, Black pants with midnight blue shirt and man clevage for him

Program Layout:

Curve Lift
Chor Spin
Dance Spin - 2nd position petered out but nice exit
NT St Seq
Twizzles - small balance check for her (she had a few of these the whole program)
St Seq in Hold (serpentine)
Rotational Lift - this was a mess.
Chor character step sequence

I know this is them trying to be edgy and frankly it's a pleasure to see a Russian program that is at least trying to be contemporary, but it's really not all that edgy or that interesting.

I'm sure L/L were aiming for gold here. But even if they remain in 2nd they'll have time to fix what was wrong with the free for their second JGP and hopefully the final.

Well so much for the last couple. It was a really nice NT St Seq and then Youtube crapped out. Really really really awful today.

That singer should send Kate Bush tribute money.

for LL, I think it's the choreographic passage between their twizzle

My stream skipped a lot so I'll have to watch again, but I loved what I saw.

The music will take some getting use to but I like their performance. Not as smooth as L/L but edgy. Like the hip hop movements in the ChSt.

I was not a fan of that program either. I didn't like the music or the choreography. It seemed like they were trying too hard to be edgy/modern. They seem like strong skaters, but this program didn't do it for me.

Well in the replay that's a really nice choreographic character st seq. A much better stab at being contemporary. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's not freezing 12 times over the program (not kidding I counted).

She's delighted, aww

S/E was great, but I didn't expect L/L to be this much behind.
